Liverpool & Wirral
Pest Control
eradicate Rats & Mice in Merseyside Manchester,
Lancashire & Cheshire.
Both Rats & Mice
spread disease and can cause substantial damage by chewing wiring and
water pipes, as well as being unhygienic and anti-social pests.
The word 'Rodent' comes from the Latin
'Rodere' meaning 'to gnaw' as thier teeth never stop growing and need
to be kept sharp by constant gnawing.
Rodents invade
our homes looking for food and shelter mainly in the Autumn and winter
but can be found at any time of the year. Often an infestation will go
unnoticed for some time as they are very secretive and by nature
nocturnal creatures.
They are capable of spreading disease and
damaging electric wiring by their constant gnawing.
Rats carry a
particularly unpleasant and sometimes fatal disease called Wiel's
Disease which is spread from their urine, and sadly in the UK there
have been a small number of deaths from this idease, usually people
associated with angling or water sports.
In addition they are capable of doing
extensive damage electric cables and even water pipes. If you have a
rat infestation you have a legal duty to remedy it.
Mice have little in the
way of a bladder and therefore dribble a constant stream of urine as
they move across surfaces and when in contact with food preparation
surfaces then serious contamination can occur.
The reproduction rate of both rats and mice
is phenominal and often a substantial infestation can build up
unnoticed.
Typical costs for domestic property Rodents
£85 - £150 subject to site survey.
