Regularly cleaning and vacuuming closets and storage areas, washing or dry cleaning infested clothing and fabrics, freezing infested items for a few days to kill larvae, using moth repellent herbs like lavender, cedar, or rosemary, placing moth traps with pheromone attractants, sealing clothing in airtight containers, and ensuring proper ventilation and humidity control in storage areas.
